Terra Viridis was formed in 2006, to aid architects, planners and policy makers in creating environmentally sensitive built environments. We are a Hyderabad based firm that specialises in environmental design, building systems performance analysis, lighting / daylight design analysis and strategic sustainability planning. We work with architects throughout  the country in helping them design green buildings. In this regard, our  projects range in scope from individual residences straight through to office buildings for multinational corporations.

Our aim is to design or assist you in designing low environmental impact built environments that respond to their natural surroundings without compromising on the user’s quality of life.

Our principle areas of activity include energy efficient design, renewable energy integration, sustainable water management, on-site waste management, and ecological conservation.

In response to stricter building regulations on energy conservation, increasing need for better working environments and the rising costs of fuel and power, there is a growing trend towards efficiently designed buildings and layouts.

Computer based simulations could be used to analyse indoor comfort conditions such as temperature, humidity, air velocity, day lighting, ventilation etc, the energy required for cooling, lighting and ventilation and outdoor conditions that reduce heat island effect, improve renewable energy integration, etc.

The rapid development in India is leading to haphazard development, severe resource crunches, waste management issues, loss of ecological balance.... the only solution to sustain growth would be to go the sustainable way.
